Ayaans office:
Ayaan is asking Maanu if Shanaaya came or not, he says no and then calls her but since she doesnt pick up, he decides to go to her house and see whats wrong.
At Karaoke Bar:
Ishaan wants a job so bad and decides to become a waiter. Some insults him on seeing him like that but he ignores them. He got his salary and is happy to receive and thinks that he will buy something for Pampi, his brother and mother.
At Shanaayas house:
Ayaan is finding him and sees her sitting at a corner crying. He asks her why shes crying and she tells that she saw on television that her dad said that he doesnt have any daughter only a son from his other wife.
At Ayaans office:
Ishaan comes and gifts Pampi and his brother a gift and tells them that this is from his own money. Somebody calls Ayaans office and tells him that Ishaan has stole the money, Tullu gets really mad. Pampi tells him that give him a chance or shell leave the job. So Tullu has no choice but to give Ishaan a job.
At a party:
Pampi is wondering whether she should tell Ayaan that she wrote the song. Ayaan comes and asks her why she looks so shattered and if there was anything wrong. Just then Ishaan comes and Pampi goes and dance with him. While Ayaan imagines him dancing with Pampi.

She gets on the dance floor and some boys are harassing him then Ayaan gets there and takes her away from her. And being so drunk, she tells Ayaan that she loves him. Ayaan gets mad saying that youre only saying all this because youre drunk. Ishaan comes then and Shanaaya drops her home.

Gustakh Dil 19th August 2013 Written Update

Since the day is almost over even in the Western half of the world and there is no update, I figured Id provide one since I am the backup! Hope yall had a wonderful Monday and got to catch this episode. It was quite good (though a bit tragic).
The episode starts out with snapshots of the wedding and the grooms cousin telling the grooms father (FIL) that the scooter is second hand. He gets angry and goes and stops the wedding ceremony. He makes a huge hungama and shouts at his son (who I thought looked totally like a bhondu from his actions) to get up off the mandap. Lajjos father tries to placate him, but the FIL is super pissed and keeps insulting him. Everyone watches on in horror. The FIL takes him to the scooter and insults him saying it is second hand and they had asked for a new one, etc. He is adamant to break the rishta and leave, but Nikhils grandfather comes and placates him and asks him to talk to Rambhachan in privacy. The FIL agrees and they go inside. Nikhil and his friends look in absolute confusion!
Lajjo is sitting in her room and confused due to the chaos outside. She wants to go look, but her friend placates her and asks her to stay in the room. Nikhil and his friends are talking outside. His friends are all pissed, whereas Nikhil is worries and hopes that everything turns out okay. Inside, Rambachan begs the FIL to reconsider his decision, but he is still upset. Nikhils grandfather comes and asks Rambachan to show the paperwork he got when he bought the scooter to prove it is new. The FIL agrees that it is new, but is still confused as to how it got damages. Rambachan makes a story about how it got damaged while a person from the dealership brought it to the house, and he felt too bad to complain about the guy to the dealership. The FIL buys it and the wedding is on again. :/ Lajjo is listening to everything and is extremely unhappy! She remembers her stint on the scooter and is very unhappy.
At Nikhils house in Delhi, his parents are arguing about Ayeshas wedding. They argue about Inder having a small village mentality and Barkha being overly modern (the usual stuff ). Inder is upset at Ayesha stays out of the house all night and Barkha is not worried. Instead, she throws a taunt at Nikhil being away. Inder tells her that he is in their own house in Sonbarsa, whereas no one knows where Ayesha is. Inder gets sentimental about the village, his aging father and his sister. He is glad that atleast Nikhil remembers them and is there.
At Lajjos house, the pandit asks for Lajjo to be brought out for the rest of the ceremony. Lajjo is brought out and everyone is happy to see her look beautiful (including Nikhil ). Lajjo is brought to the podium and the pandit asks her to put the garland on the groom first. She stares at her groom (who is grinning stupidly) and walks off. Everyone is shocked! Her dad tries to stop her, but she says that she needs to do what is right! She makes a beeline to the scooter and puts the garland on it! Everyone is shocked and her father asks her what she is doing?! The father tries to stop her, but the FIL is all pissed again and starts insulting Rambachan. Lajjo gets angrier and says that shes seen how they keep asking for things since the start of this relationship money, household things, scooter, etc. She says the classic dialogue Agar aap ki nazar main hum se jyada iss scooter ka mole hai, to humri nazar main bhi apke bete se jyada is scooter ka hi mole hai. Isliye karli humne scooter se shaadi. Everyone looks shocked and Nikhil just smiles! Her father still tries to get her to shut up, but she just says that whatever she said was true. She then tells the in-laws that she broke the scooter and that her father had lied to protect her. The FIL is very angry and break the wedding and starts to leave. Rambachan and family try to beg them for forgiveness, but they leave!

Amita Ka Amit 19th August 2013 Written Update

Episode begins with Ammu and Amit on the call. Ammu informs Amit that its Siddhant who is going to become Kanaiya. She praises him a lot saying best dancer and what not, and herself is very nervous to perform with him. Amit is on the other hand getting jealous. Ammu asks Amit to join her so she has moral support and can dance well, but Amit refuses saying he has an important meeting. Ammu gets disappoint.
An employee enters Amits cabin without knocking, and Amit takes his frustration out at him. The employee gives a bag to Amit saying Ammu sent it. Amit opens it and its his lunch box. There is note with it which says Bhulkkad (someone who forgets a lot), if you like the food, then smile a little. Amit then opens the lunchbox, and sees a sandwich with a smile face on it. He smiles looking at it. He changes his decision now and tells the employee to cancel the meeting. The employee asks which client hes going to. Amit answers that hes going to his wife to give her moral support.
Ammu and Siddhant are having a good time in an open area. Amit arrives there and notices both laughing a lot. Ammu gets quiet seeing Amit. She asks him about his meeting, but Amit just says it got cancelled instead he cancelled it. Amit asks them to share that joke with him as well as he couldnt hear. Ammu, Siddhant, and others start laughing again. Amit feels bad and says them to continue laughing and he will leave. Siddhant tells him to stay and then starts screaming practice with Ammu. Ammu screams louder and louder. Amit finds it strange. Siddhant says that practice is to get fear out from inside. Siddhant and Ammu ask Amit to try as well. Amit tries, but his scream was not like a scream at all. Ammu tells him to imagine that team India won a worldcup and hes very happy. Again, Amits scream is not like a scream. Ammu says that from his scream, it looks like as if India got all out instead winning the worldcup. Siddhant now screams and Ammu is impressed. Amit again says that he will leave, but Siddhant asks him to have coffee with them. When Ammu requests him a lot, he stays.
Siddhant is playing/shaking the coffee container, and Ammu is impressed once again. They sit down to talk now. Siddhant asks Amit why he doesnt give a break to his glasses and wear contact lenses. Before Amit answers, Ammu interrupts and says she also says him same thing, but he doesnt listen. Siddhant then says it would be difficult to swim with lens though. Again Ammu interrupts and says he doesnt swim. He asks Amit if he does as she never saw him. Amit says no. Siddhant says he only swims sometimes. Amit asks sometimes? Siddhant answers whenever he is in water. Everyone laughs. Ammu now says he doesnt play outdoor games either. Siddhant says he should play it and in fact he was thinking to take Amit for a volleyball match. Ammu gets surprised knowing Siddhant plays volleyball too. One guy says Siddhant is a champion in volleyball. Ammu is impressed and says that Siddhant is an all rounder.
Amit is recalling recent events in car. He enters a glass shop and asks for contact lenses. The shop guy says why lenses? Because Amit previously had bought it and returned it in 2 hours as he had some problem. Amit still gets it.
At home, Amit puts the contact lenses and joins everyone for dinner. His mother asks why he put the lenses when he has pain in the eyes because of it. Amit says he is comfortable, but when he takes the daal, instead of dropping it in his bowl, he drops outside. Ammu decides to stay quiet as everyone is there.
In their room, Ammu asks him if hes still having pain. Amit says no. Ammu says that she was going to say outside that.. Amit interrupts, that why I wore contact lenses, right? I felt like it so I wore them. Whats the big deal?. Ammu says, no, I was going to say that contact lenses are suiting you alot, but your eyes shouldnt get red. Amit says that his eyes are burning a little. Ammu suggests him to take them off then. Amit is taking them off. Ammu offers him for the help. Amit happily says yes. While shes doing that, they have an eyelock. Ammu then cant see lenses and feels they went inside. Its too late now and no one has knowledge of lenses in their home. Ammu thinks of calling Siddhant as he also wears it, but Amit says no saying he has to sleep only, in morning he will go to the shop. They sleep.
In middle of the night, Amit wakes up as hes having lot of pain. He asks Ammu to call Siddhant.
In the morning, Amit is dropping Ammu. He decides to go in to thank Siddhant for helping last night. Siddhant is teaching the girls how to do the pushups. Ammu is impressed seeing his body and tells Amit that if she was skinnier, then she would be fit like Siddhant too. Amit thanks Siddhant. Siddhants assistant asks what happened to his eyes. Siddhant says, yesterday he drank coffee without taking out the spoon. Ammu laughs at his humor. Amit then thanks again and says he will leave. Ammu asks him to stay to see his Radhas practice, but Amit refuses saying hes not in the mood for that. Ammu is surprised with his behavior.

Akash confidently says, this card is not of Meethis choice. Tapu remembers how Meethi told Mukta to choose, but she still says, this is Meethis choice. People make mistake once, not again and again. She asks him to return the card and says, you will also get one. Akash returns it.
Rathore takes Tapu on a side and asks why she had to lie just to hurt him? Tapu says, no, just to make him feel. Whats wrong if I gave him little pain? Its nothing in front of what he gave to Meethi. Tapu leaves. Rathore says to himself, why did I give you this right? Right of hurting.
Akash is crossing out a date on the calendar. Surabhi says, only few days to go for the marriage, but I am sure, in end, your love will win. Akash smiles and says, yours too. Kanha bhaiya has calmed down since he found out that hes going to become father. Its just he is not able to show his happiness to anyone. And if Anni is on your side, then you dont suffer for long. Surabhi asks him if she should talk to Damini about him as well, but Akash says no. He tells her to rest and he will get to work. He says, I want Meethi to eat food made by me in the remaining days, so she gets used to it. If I leave, then she will cry a lot. Both Surabhi and Akash get emotional and hug each other. Akash wipes his tears and tries to be strong.
Mukta is crying in her room. Rathore comes there. She wipes her tears and tries to give excuses, but Rathore catches it. Mukta hugs him. Rathore says, no one is happy, but still this drama is continuing just so Meethi can get separated from Akash. Mukta says, everyone is happy. Vishnu loves Meethi a lot, and maybe Meethi as well. Rathore says, your magician can read everyones face. The problem is your mother and Meethi are being stubborn, and that is why this drama is continuing. Mukta says, its possible, but maybe this way Meethi might find new life and will stay happy. Rathore says, when a tear falls from your eye, I feel its pain. Mukta promises that she wont cry. Both hug. Rathore says, everything will be fine, my little princess.
Meethi is doing her hair. Akash comes there. He sees her and remembers a flashback where he was helping Meethi in doing her hair. Meethi notices him and asks, why did you come here? Akash doesnt say anything as hes lost in their beautiful memories. Meethi finally gets his attention and asks again. Akash says, your wedding card is here. Meethi turns her face. Akash continues, first card goes to God.. so Rathore sahab and Vishnu are calling you. Meethi says, I will be there. Akash says, everyone is waiting. Meethi says, I said I will be there. Akash is leaving, but then stops, and tells Meethi that he can help her in doing her hair as hes an expert. He asks her if she remembers. Meethi too remembers that moment and gets emotional. She wipes her tears and turns to Akash and says, I dont remember, and I dont want to remember anything. Now you may leave.. please. She turns her face again. Akash says, cards will be distributed to your relatives very soon. Theres still time to stop your drama because we both know that from heart, you cant become anyone elses. And as long as I am live, there is no chance. He leaves.
Kanha sees Meethi crying. He thinks of going to her, but then decides against it.
Kanha now comes to Surabhi and says that he wants to talk to her. Surabhi gets very happy hearing his voice. Kanha says, there is no need to be very happy. I want to make a deal with you. If you do what I tell, then I will accept you. Surabhi says, if you ask me to give away my life, then I will do that too for you. Kanha says, I want you to go to Akash and asks him to leave from here. Because of him, it has become difficult for Meethi to live. If he leaves from here, then I will accept you. Surabhi says, I am ready to do anything, but please dont ask me to do this. I know Akash loves Meethi a lot. You can imagine what he must be going through seeing his wife getting married to someone else in front of him. Once Meethi gets married, he will leave anyways. Damini asks Akash, why dont you stand back? Akash steps back. The priest does tilak to Vishnu, and asks Vishnu and Meethi to put their wedding card in front of the idol. When they are doing that, the card falls down from their hands. The priest says, this is not a good message from the God. The card flies away. Meethi goes to get it. Rathore picks it up and smiles. He says in his mind, today even Mr. Parmeshwar is on the right side. This is clear, Meethi and Vishnu are not made for each other.
Rathore reads the card and asks Meethi if she knows whats atoot, something that cant be broken. He asks when thats going to happen, why there is no smile on your face. Meethi says, sorry.. card got slipped from my hand. Rathore says, Mukta calls me a magician and I read faces and eyes. Meethi stares at him for a moment. Rathore returns the card and leaves from there.
Meethi joins Dadmini and family again. Damini tells the priest, I dont believe in good luck and bad luck, but still if there is any way to correct this mistake, then let them know. The priest tells them to apologize God and put it in front of them. Meethi says in her mind, nothing is hidden from you. You know everything that we dont want to marry each other, so now show us some way. Vishnu too asks the God to show them a way. Mukta asks the God to help in forgetting her love for Vishnu. Finally Akash asks, why all this is happening? You know we love each other a lot. Show us some way.
Precap: A guy brings wounded Nirbhay to Maiyya.
Akash confidently says, this card is not of Meethis choice. Tapu remembers how Meethi told Mukta to choose, but she still says, this is Meethis choice. People make mistake once, not again and again. She asks him to return the card and says, you will also get one. Akash returns it.
Rathore takes Tapu on a side and asks why she had to lie just to hurt him? Tapu says, no, just to make him feel. Whats wrong if I gave him little pain? Its nothing in front of what he gave to Meethi. Tapu leaves. Rathore says to himself, why did I give you this right? Right of hurting.
Akash is crossing out a date on the calendar. Surabhi says, only few days to go for the marriage, but I am sure, in end, your love will win. Akash smiles and says, yours too. Kanha bhaiya has calmed down since he found out that hes going to become father. Its just he is not able to show his happiness to anyone. And if Anni is on your side, then you dont suffer for long. Surabhi asks him if she should talk to Damini about him as well, but Akash says no. He tells her to rest and he will get to work. He says, I want Meethi to eat food made by me in the remaining days, so she gets used to it. If I leave, then she will cry a lot. Both Surabhi and Akash get emotional and hug each other. Akash wipes his tears and tries to be strong.
Mukta is crying in her room. Rathore comes there. She wipes her tears and tries to give excuses, but Rathore catches it. Mukta hugs him. Rathore says, no one is happy, but still this drama is continuing just so Meethi can get separated from Akash. Mukta says, everyone is happy. Vishnu loves Meethi a lot, and maybe Meethi as well. Rathore says, your magician can read everyones face. The problem is your mother and Meethi are being stubborn, and that is why this drama is continuing. Mukta says, its possible, but maybe this way Meethi might find new life and will stay happy. Rathore says, when a tear falls from your eye, I feel its pain. Mukta promises that she wont cry. Both hug. Rathore says, everything will be fine, my little princess.
Meethi is doing her hair. Akash comes there. He sees her and remembers a flashback where he was helping Meethi in doing her hair. Meethi notices him and asks, why did you come here? Akash doesnt say anything as hes lost in their beautiful memories. Meethi finally gets his attention and asks again. Akash says, your wedding card is here. Meethi turns her face. Akash continues, first card goes to God.. so Rathore sahab and Vishnu are calling you. Meethi says, I will be there. Akash says, everyone is waiting. Meethi says, I said I will be there. Akash is leaving, but then stops, and tells Meethi that he can help her in doing her hair as hes an expert. He asks her if she remembers. Meethi too remembers that moment and gets emotional. She wipes her tears and turns to Akash and says, I dont remember, and I dont want to remember anything. Now you may leave.. please. She turns her face again. Akash says, cards will be distributed to your relatives very soon. Theres still time to stop your drama because we both know that from heart, you cant become anyone elses. And as long as I am live, there is no chance. He leaves.
Kanha sees Meethi crying. He thinks of going to her, but then decides against it.

Narendra Modi watches The Light Swami Vivekananda
Makers of Hindi biopic <i>The Light: Swami Vivekananda</i> organized a special screening of the film for Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad. Modi saw the film with Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State, MLAs and other dignitaries.<br><br>
Speaking after the screening, Modi said that he thoroughly enjoyed watching the film and complimented the cast and crew for their efforts. He stated that through this film the youth can get inspired a lot. <br><br>
He even declared that the government would make the film Tax Free in Gujarat. The film produced by J Misra, directed by Tutu Sinha, has Deep Bhattacharya plating the role of Swami Vivekananda. <br><br>
Several monks from Shri Ramkrishna Mission were present at the screening too. The film is slated to release on August 23.
